The Process of Making the VoltisLTD Logo

The logo's starting point:

When we first thought of the name Voltis for our company, we already had the thought of the 'V' being a cup sign.

Other ideas of brand names included Veito and Multis. These were powerful latin words, and due to many words originating from Latin, we thought this would be an interesting name for our brand. Therefore, we combined the words Veito and Multis to make: Voltis.

Deciding that the the cup being used as a V (as well as it being black and white) - the logo above was too plain. Therefore, to grab our audiences attention more, we made logo's with brighter colour's added (as shown below). We also added V's in the cup so our brands name was clearer. The first logo shown in the slideshow, is the logo chosen for our company. The others were also our top favourites.
